CONSUMER AWARENESS ALERT!!! Many of you have asked if we participate in "Weekend Hot Tub Blowout Expos". No, we do not. 1. This is not like a home show or boat show where several local companies are displaying their products and competing for your business. This is simply one company renting a building and trying to sell as many of their spas in 3 days before moving on to the next town. There will only be ONE brand of hot tubs at the expo.... 2. MSRP pricing can be whatever the company wants it to be. A hot tub that normally sells for $8,000 in the showroom might have a displayed MSRP of $16,000 at the expo. If the unit is then 'marked down' $4,000, you are still paying $4,000 OVER the actual price of the spa. Don't fall for this tactic. 3. Never buy a hot tub at an expo...you will always pay more than you will at a store. There is no such thing as a 'this weekend only' deal. Go home, research the brand, check the Better Business Bureau, and always read the fine print of any sales order before you sign. If a contract says "All Sales Final...No Refunds"....walk away. 4. If you allow yourself to be pressured into buying, only pay with a credit card. This will give you some protection (but not always) if the company does not live up to its promises or if a 'bait and switch' situation occurs. 5. Use your cell phone and record the ENTIRE sales presentation. Tell the salesperson you are recording him. If he does not like you doing so, then leave. You will not regret this and it could possibly save you thousands of dollars. 6. We do not provide warranty work for any company except our own no matter what you might be told.
