Word for Today...God’s Will be Done, Not Mine Father, he said, if you will, take this cup of suffering away from me. Not my will, however, but your will be done. Luke 22:42 (GNB)... Ever wanted something or someone so badly, and when you prayed about it, you learned it wasn’t God’s will for you? I’ve been there more times than I care to remember. I’ve learned that no matter how good or how reasonable something may look or sound, it’s always best to seek the Lord first. We would save ourselves a lot of heartache, problems, and turmoil if we only listen, and heed the voice of the Lord. And, there are times when we already know the answer, but we’ll try to talk God into it by giving Him the reasons He should let us have it. You might as well say amen because it’s true! Jesus ALWAYS listened and obeyed Father God. Even to the Cross because He loved God with ALL of His heart. And God loves us as much as He loves Jesus! Let that sink in! Yes, God loves you just as much as He loves His only begotten Son! If He didn’t, He wouldn’t have sacrificed Him to save you and me. But He demonstrated His deep and abiding love for you and me; so that Jesus laid down His life; allowed Himself to be scorned, mocked, rejected, spit on, beaten with whips, nailed to a cross, suffer in hell for three days and three nights, so that we could spend eternity with Him! If He had not been willing to make His Father’s will His own will, we’d be DOOMED to hell forever and ever! Oh praise God forevermore!! That’s Good News! Amen! Hallelujah! Glory to God in the highest! Let’s endeavor to seek our Father’s will in all we do, so that we are pleasing to Him, so that we will have good success and be pleasing to Him. Amen!? Word for Today...God’s Love Demonstrated But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us. Romans 5:8 (AMPC) No one can ever make the claim that God doesn’t love them. He has demonstrated His unconditional love over and over again to all of us.... His first demonstration of love was in the Garden of Eden. Afterwards, as we read through the scriptures, we witness God’s love and mercy in the lives of people. Even the most evil, wicked people we’ve read about in the Bible, God demonstrated His mercy when we ourselves would’ve given up on them. Meditate today’s scripture throughout the day, and never think or forget how much God loves you! Praise the Lord! While we were still sinners, God demonstrated His own love toward us by giving His only begotten Son, that those who believe in Him should not perish in hell, but spend eternity with Him! Hallelujah! Amen! Scripture Reference: John 3:16...Genesis chpts. 1-3...

Word for Today...The Lord your Strength The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalms 18:2 There are times when we just need to go deep into the spirit realm drawing so close to God that we can almost feel His arms around us. ... I’ve had times when the challenges of life were so overwhelming, that I cried out to God, Lord! I need to curl up in your lap, and for you to hold me! And when I’ve done that, waiting on the Lord, peace entered in. God indeed is our strength! He is our Rock! Our Shield! Our Fortress, our Deliverer! When the challenges of life come, and they will, go to your Father, climb up into His lap as a child, because you are His child! Stay there until you have the Peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen! Hallelujah to Jesus! Glory to God in the highest! Scripture Reference: John 14:27...Philippians 4:4-6

Word for Today...Jesus, the Way to God Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me. John 14:6 You’ve probably heard the phrase, all paths lead to God. Well, with human reasoning it sounds reasonable, but, it’s far from the truth. ... Without a Savior, mankind is fallen, doomed to spend eternity in hell. But God, the Creator of Heaven and earth, said not so! And Jesus agreed! He loves us so much, that He willingly became a man, lived perfectly without ever sinning, so that He could pay the ransom for His creation! Hallelujah! To restore mankind back to God after Adam’s sin in the Garden of Eden. Oh give God some praise! That is why every person on the planet needs a Savior, and His name is Jesus! This is Holy Week, and Christians everywhere are celebrating Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection from the dead! If you’ve never accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord, you can do so right there where you sit. Ask Him to come into your heart, and save you; that you believe He died for your sins, and was raised from the dead for your justification, and you will be saved and spend eternity with Him. Amen! Scripture Reference: John 3:16-18...Acts 4:12...1 John 3:8

Word for Today: Dwell in the Secret Place As I was studying Psalm 91 in the Passion Translation this morning, it resonated so deep in my spirit that I sensed the Lord wanted me to share it as the message today. I’ve read Psalm 91 probably thousands of times, but I’ve never read it in its entirety in the Passion translation. It’s so powerful I teared up and almost wept. It seemed that the Lord was speaking to me directly! There’s a peace in God the world will never know. But ...bless God, we who know Him can! Amen?! Glory to God in the highest! As you read this favored Psalm of many believers, may the comfort of the Holy Spirit give you peace! When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us? When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil be launched against you. Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, you will remain unscathed and unharmed. You will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done! God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling. You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet! For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: Because you loved me, delighted in me, and have been loyal to my name, I will greatly protect you. I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will feel my presence in your time of trouble. I will deliver you and bring you honor. I will satisfy you with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation! Psalms 91:1-16 TPT
