The Everett Southwest Literary Award is thrilled to announce this year’s winners as chosen by Final Judge Rob Roensch. First place goes to Kelli Jo Ford’s Crooked Hallelujah, which unsurprisingly has just been picked up by Grove/Atlantic, and John Poch’s masterful Mass Casualty Training Exercise receives second place. Competition was fierceour thanks to everyone who submitted their work!
The Oklahoma City Launch for Hit Your Brights is coming up at Commonplace Books on February 11th. Join me if you can! Books and people and food and wine, if you're into that sort of thing. :)
