1-179 INF BN celebrates the accomplishments of the soldiers supporting the Battalion. Congratulations on the promotion of SSG Vandalsem to SFC, SPC Calamateo was recognized for his service to the BN, and CPT Gruszeczki was presented with a Guidon Flag for his service as HHC commander.

179 IN BN was proud to participate in the 89er parade in Guthrie, OK. BG Cynthia Tinkham rode in the gunners turret of a D CO 179 HMMVW driven by SFC John Holley and TC'd by CPT Spencer Basoco.
