The Chickasha Public Schools’ Robotics program is taking applications for two summer robotics camps. The camps will be held in the High School Robotics practice room located at 124 N. 9th Street. Both camps are Monday through Friday and there will be a maximum of 12 students per camp. The Students will learn beginner to intermediate robot engineering and programming and will be in pairs with two students per robot kit. There will be a robot competition Friday at noon for each... camp. Students will demonstrate skills they have learned to perform tasks and score points with their robot. Family members are welcome to view the challenge. Camp registration fees will help support our robotics programs for the 2019-2020 season. Lunch and snacks are provided. We finished ranked 23rd out of 68 in our division at the FIRST Championship in Houston. We were selected to join the 4th seeded alliance and lost in the quarterfinals of the playoff. We had an amazing time and created great memories that we will never forget. To our graduating seniors, we wish you the best as you move on to your next journey in life and we are so thankful for your time and dedication to robotics and to your team for the past four years.
