June 30th Don’t Second Guess the Will of God Trust in the Lord and stop second guessing what the will of the Lord is. He knows what He is doing and you can trust in Him. So many have heard an initial Word from God, a first leading He has given them, what we call a know that you know experience, but they think about it too much, they let circumstances and yes even people to get them to reason away what God showed them. They end up abandoning what God is directing them to do ov...er distractions. Stop and hold on to what He is saying. Hebrews 2:1 2 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. Many times people add on more than what God is saying and interfere with what God is trying to accomplish. The Lord said this to me, each step of obedience will make the next step clear no matter how small. That defines trust, I step out on what God says and I know there will be another step waiting on the other side of my obedience. God is so faithful He won’t let you down, He will make things clear to you. But when He does, embrace it, don’t second guess it or add to it. June 28th You Only Have One Life to Live Lay down everything that is not of your new life, for you have only one life to live. The new nature is Life Himself. Our new nature is made to be in submission to everything He is. It’s His nature working through us that brings forth the fruit. We are humbling ourselves to the working of the power of that nature. Jesus repeats twice in John 15 that He is the Vine and we are the branches. And He says in verse 5 that without Me, or apar...t from Me, or separate from Me you can do nothing. We only have one life to live and that is God’s Life. His Life is our new nature. A branch separate from its nature can’t produce results. Jesus was saying that the way a branch bears fruit is how you bear fruit. If you can understand how a branch bears fruit you will begin to understand how you bear fruit when you abide in Him. A tree does not struggle and strive to bring forth fruit. It is a working nature, a supernatural process that God set in motion when cooperated with, it brings forth the fruit it was designed to bear. We need to be so thankful for what God set in motion within us. That is what makes it increase, our passion for it. Colossians 2:6-7 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Notice that, we abound in it with thanksgiving. An open, hungry, humble heart goes a long way for increasing the operation of this power in all areas of our life. This is what brings transformation. Transformation comes from the same working nature that is in our spirit is working freely in our soul (our mind, will, and emotions) to bring manifestation in our bodies. We live by this working Life. We must be thankful about what’s working in us. When we are thankful for that working Life it allows the soul to cooperate more with that working and it brings forth transformation. Our minds need to be restored back to what it was designed by God for, to be yielded to the Holy Spirit. Abound in it with thanksgiving for this is the Life we are called to live. June 27th It is by His Working Power Through us that we are Pleasing You were made to bring forth much fruit from the working of God’s Kingdom. You are the branch of the True Vine. A branch can’t bear fruit of itself. The branch of the True Vine needs to abide and remain steadfast in the working of everything that the True Vine is. In our own ability we can’t bear fruit that is pleasing to God. It is by the working of His power through us that we are pleasing. It is not throu...gh good works, it is through His working that produces the good works. It is through the operation that works in Himself that He is pleased with. Ephesians 1:9 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: The purpose that is pleasing to God is in Himself. The proof is the next verse says, He is gathering all things in Christ. So for us to be pleasing to Him He must provide us access to the same working that pleases Him. Thank God He has, He has provided us with the same working that operates in Himself. We must as believers exalt it by faith. The Lord called me to awaken the Church to the reality of the working that makes the Church the Body of Christ. It’s a mandate that must be fulfilled. That is why you have been reading so much of this in my posts. As believers we need to be excited about these things. It is what is pleasing to God. It is the main reason why the Holy Spirit is here.
