Dangerous erosion at the Arkansas River Please do not get near the rushing waters of the River Trails. Today we received multiple reports of an individual that ...fell into the river screaming for help and was swept downstream. We used several Officers, Firefighter, and other City employees at various point down the river to search, plus a Helicopter and drones Unfortunately, we, we're not able to locate the individual. We still see people bringing their children right up to the edge, as if it was safe. The erosion is happening under the surface and could collapse without warning. In these conditions, without immediate extraction, you will likely succumb to the very fast and powerful water. #2019TulsaFlood
