The Fort Sill Fires Department recently training on vehicle extraction. Interesting fact the jaws of life weighs 70lbs! In any automobile extrication, typicall...y they remove the car from the victim in the majority of the situations. This morning at 0900 the Ft Sill DES experienced a historic moment, we officially cutover to our very own on base 911 Dispatch Center!!! To say we are excited is an understatement...while we are still working out the kinks, this is a long awaited moment for us!
