NOTICE On May 2, 2021 the Session of FPC approved the revised policy for "Covid-19 Social Distancing" requirements, effective May 2. ********************************** 1. Masks will not be necessary or required for children under 18 years old, or any adult (18 years old or older) that has been vaccinated for Covid -19, with 2 weeks passed since last shot. 2. Individuals who so desire can still wear masks.... 3. Social Distancing while seated in the sanctuary for worship service will be maintained at 6 feet, with every other pew closed to seating. ************************************* The risks for Covid-19 infections are now very low, with most of the church members vaccinated, the low number of cases in the county, the low number of critical cases hospitalized, with many people who have had the virus and recovered, and finally, following the recommendations of the medical professionals, not politicians. FPC is returning to its " normal", looking forward to providing full service to our members and congregates with singing, worship, potluck dinners, birthday and anniversary celebrations, etc. If you have questions or comments, please respond via messenger. Peace and Blessings, Fred Bray, Clerk of Session

Easter worship service at FPC, Apr 4, 2021.

First Presbyterian Church 06.05.2021

FPC and McGee Chapel joined forces to provide breakfast, Choctaw singing, and a homily by Pastor Eveline Steele, on Tuesday of Holy Week. 62 attended. I invite you to experience the Easter story by two young girls singing "Hallelujah". In the service, we asked all to close their eyes and let their imagination take them along Christ's journey to the cross and the resurrection. Do this as you listen to the video: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0 HOMILY Pastor Eveline Steele... MESSAGE A Single Grain Bares Much Fruit SCRIPTURE John 12:20-31 New International Version Jesus Predicts His Death 20 Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the festival. 21 They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. Sir, they said, we would like to see Jesus. 22 Philip went to tell Andrew; Andrew and Philip in turn told Jesus. 23 Jesus replied, The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. 27 Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify your name! Then a voice came from heaven, I have glorified it, and will glorify it again. 29 The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him. 30 Jesus said, This voice was for your benefit, not mine. 31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. FPC will again host the annual Easter Sunrise Service at the Broken Bow Lake Overlook this year - Easter Sunday, April 4 at 7:00 am. Roy Peevy will provide the message, focusing on "He Is Risen". The Choir will lead the signing of hymns. (The service was cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.) We hope you can join us in worship on the most special Sunday of the year for Christians.
