Our church is preparing to celebrate the senior class of 2021 on Sunday, May 23rd. We are preparing a breakfast for our seniors and their families. Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE): Simulation is an opportunity to walk through what it is like to experience a month of poverty in the United States. Lunch will be at 12:30pm and the experience will be from 1:00-3:00pm in the Colvert Ministry Center on Sunday, May 23rd. We will have a Parent Wise class all about Raising Kids in a Smart Phone World this Wednesday, May 5th from 5:30-7:00pm in the sanctuary. This class is designed for parents with children 5th-12th grade. +Do you need strategies on parenting in the age of cell phones? +Are you feeling overwhelmed trying to keep up with all the technology and dangers kids are exposed to? +What’s the right age to get a cell phone? ... +Is there a safe cell phone? +What are the most dangerous apps for teens these days? +What family rules should you have in place concerning cell phones?
