Galligan Family Farm

Folks, we just took 4 hogs to slaughter, and will soon be offering USDA Inspected pork, for sale. This is locally bred and raised pork, eating local feed. They have never been administered hormones, antibiotics or any medicines which could have the potential for harm to people. They eat grass, grains, and foraged organic food. We are talking about HIGH QUALITY pork. We expect the meat to be ready to sell in two weeks. We will have ham, bacon, Arky bacon, jowls, sausage, pork roasts, ribs and ground available. Finally harvested our first piglet. No scale, to weigh him, but guessing he was 40-45# on the hoof. Far heavier than I thought. On the smoker grill, low & slow., now. And, one of the girls, tomorrow.

The newest additions to the farm. Pork Chop had her babies overnight. 1 black and white, 1 brown and white, 4 white, so far.
