Oh..... this Beast! And a slightly humorous backstory from day 1. 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51 I think May 2016 ish.. .Mr. Lahita hired me to perform a paint correction and a 4 to 5 year ceramic coating with wheel off detail and ceramic wheels as well. Jp @autodistinctions was hired to do the PPF... It was the first vehicle that I was hired to do that kind of work order. I was fairly new to ceramic coatings. My friend Aaron Kelle helped me with the initial cut and polish stages......and we topped it off with a 2 part ceramic system that we had only tried that 1 time. Now the humorous part.....Mr. Lahita wanted wheels to be taken off, decon, polish, and ceramic coat. I had never done a wheel off detail except on my own rides. I stipulated that I would do it if he came and took his wheels off . Of course at first he's like do what? I gave an explanation as to why. In short....I was to to take the wheels off myself because it was different doing it with someone else's vehicle versus my own. So.....him and his right hand man came and took 2 wheels off....they left...I did 2 wheels....they come back put em on...take the other 2 off...I did the wheels...they came back installed wheels. A day or 2 later we completed entire project..and it was He was completely happy with our results. Since then he has told this story to many! Especially if he is visiting the shop and potential clients are there....We perform services on all of his vehicles. Corvette family...multiple generation Corvettes! This vehicle has received trophies from car shows. We maintain it whenever he feels the need. He does like to maintain it himself mostly. Recently it came back for its 4 to 5 year refresh. We were pleased with the results. We did what we call a refresh...meaning polish down completely and recoat with 5 year. Mr. Mike Lahita We thank you and your family for your continued support!
