Today I worked a 2 boat trip for James Allen. Really nice day on the lake. Not all of our guys made the picture. Looks like some weather and wind coming after tomorrow. Hopefully not too bad. Thanks for following.

Today I fished my Newcastle buddy Jimmy Chapman. Along with his dad and Frank and Mike. Overcast and drizzling this morning. Fishing started little slow but after the first hour we got a bunch of quality fish. It was game on. See you next month Jimmy C. Thanks for following.

Today I fished Rocky Brent group from Texas. Overcast morning with light wind made for a great morning of fishing. Right now we are getting the best of both worlds. Quality and quantity. Really enjoyed fishing this group. Hoping for the same tomorrow. Thanks for following.

Today I had a 2 boat trip. Jason Cook and I fished Don Hodde group from Chandler. Beautiful morning to be on the water. Very aggressive bite and lots of quality fish. The lake is on the rise due to the large amount of rain the last 3 days. The lake elevation this morning was barely 615. They are saying it will go to 618 unless they generate electricity at the dam. Long way of saying they are estimating a 3 foot rise. Right now we have plenty of room for the water. Some fish still going to spawn and some are showing back up from returning spawn. Fishing is very good right now. Thanks for following.

Today I had a 3 boat trip. Brad Loper and Travis Hardin helped take care of this group. We fished Nelson Yoder group from Haven Kansas. The weather was overcast but the fishing was really good. Smaller fish early then the better fish started feeding in the deep water. Best quality and condition these fish have been in for a long time. Weather coming tonight. Hopefully not too bad. North wind in the morning. Totally opposite from today. Hope they stay in a feeding pattern with these fronts coming in. Thanks for following.

Today I fished Wayne Smith group from Stillwater. Overcast weather and some wind made for a great morning of fishing. The bite started out little slow but within a hour it was wide open. Good time today for this group. The little guy Ben is headed home to play a baseball game this evening. He will probably sleep good tonight. Thanks for following.

Today I fished Calvin Duffey and Karen Stone. Started out being very cool on the water. Fishing was good every where we went. Little windy but it made the fish aggressive. We had a great time and pulled a lot of fish. It should just get better. Surveys say a lot of quality fish to catch. Caught these fish on live bait. Thanks for following.

Good morning on Super Bowl Sunday. I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support from family and neighbors and friends. Deb and I are doing well and we are on the back side of Covid. This was a tough deal. It effects everyone different. We are very thankful to be where we are. Cold weather is coming. We are watching the lakes water temperature. Definitely don't need a shad kill on Texoma. Lake temp is 48. Threadfin shad die as the water gets close to 40 degrees. Keeping our fingers crossed. The lake is in good shape with lots of bait and fish. This year should really be productive with quality fish. Again thank you to everyone for the prayers and support. Time to start booking fishing trips. Thanks for following.
