Local Yarn Shop Day Local Yarn Store Day is a brick-and-mortar yarn shop appreciation day created by TNNA members and is our fourth annual LYS Day taking place on April 17. This event shows support for small businesses while bringing together a unique community of knitters, crocheters, weavers, and spinners to drive awareness and celebrate the craft. Oh, My Goodness! Yarns are starting to arrive for this event!! We are so excited for you to come in and see the pretties on April 17. So mark the date on your calendar and come out for a beautiful day at Get Stitichin'. Coffee Chat Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we do a live shot on Facebook. Join us as we review the week and look forward to the following week. We will show off any new yarns, show some tips on fiber projects, and more. Grab your coffee, and let's chat this Saturday. Classes We are excited about our upcoming Spring/Summer Classes. Yes! We are still offering Zoom Classes, and we continue to open up our In-Store Classes. In our Beginning Knit and Crochet Classes, we will create cute phone purses and beautiful Summer cowls. Needle Felted Sleeping Fox: Come and learn to 3-D needle felt and take home your very own snuggle bunny. - FULL CLASS We now have our Spinning Wheel Classes, so if you are interested in learning to make your yarn, check out this class! We have an excellent teacher who has vast experience spinning and makes it easy for you to learn. CLASS FULL Are you ready to learn the mechanics of knitting a sweater? Sign up for our Beginning Baby Sweater Class. After you make this baby sweater, you will have an excellent understanding of starting a cardigan of your own. Do socks scare you? No worries. We will teach you to make a sock using worsted weight yarn, and then you will have the process learned and a neat pair of anklets. Are you ready to knit in the round? We have a class for you.
