While reading a book from one of my favorite authors, I came across the following quote: "...in every line of useful labor and every association of life, He (Jesus) desires us to find a lesson of divine truth" . COL p. 26 , EGW Well, I learned a painful lesson of divine truth, not so very long ago. The Scriptures, in referring to Jesus says, "He came unto His own and His own received him not." John 1:11... Yes, Jesus, wonderful counselor, everlasting father, prince of peace - came unto humankind, whom he had formed; unto the Israelite nation where he was borne into; unto his own family - brothers and sisters and they received him not. Therefore, why should I be surprised, when I am faced with the same rejection? I sent the following link to several "friends and relatives" and asked them to support this campaign and out of them all, I merely received a telephone call from one of them, with an excuse as to why they could not help. I find it truly amazing. It's funny how no one wants to help you pull the sleigh up the hill, but everyone wants to jump on it and coast down.http://kck.st/2AU5THc
