Hey everyone! I have a few things to announce and discuss! As some of you may know I’ve been dealing with some health issues recently. This has definitely thrown some wrenches into the way I run the studio and how many clients I see. In order to cater a bit more to my health, I’ve decided to reduce the number of available appointments each week. Along with this I also had to make the difficult decision to leave Maven Salons and transition the studio into an add on studio at... my home. I want to thank Tabitha & Emily for being amazing studio managers and for being so kind and understanding with this transition. Everyone at Maven is so incredibly talented as well as are they kind, warm individuals. Unfortunately due to the health issues themselves it is a possibility that my books will close completely although temporarily in the next few weeks or so while I seek more involved care. Of course if this happens any clients on the books will be notified promptly. I appreciate all of my client’s understanding during all of this, and I’m working diligently to make sure this transition goes as smoothly as possible and that the pieces of the Girl With Shears studio that you all know and love are preserved in this new space. She was upfront about her hair history and we game planned a beautiful way to add some blonde! I will never shame you for playing with your OWN hair at home! This is why i’m trying to be transparent about my books and help each of you to get in or at least get on my books before they close. if you’ve wanted to be a client of mine for awhile but don’t necessarily have the funds for big hair change, that’s okay. please book a haircut or even a treatment and style so that you are at least on the books! if you reach out to me to say hey I want to get on your books but I don’t have a lot to spend right now, what can we do? that’s %100 okay! we will figure something out. I do not want people who have wanted to come in for awhile, miss out because the books close!

hi everyone! I wanted to make this post for any news clients and also my existing clients. I am staying booked out about 2-3 weeks as of right now. I strongly encourage you to pre-book during your appointments so that you have a spot for your next appointment or reach out to me a couple of weeks in advance of when you’re wanting your service done.
