One simple mig welding technique for all positions in one video. The reason it works is because the arc traces the leading edge of the puddle. This might not be the absolute best mig welding technique for every situation but it sure does work

This video shows tips for an aluminum welding test in 3g position as shown in AWS D17.1 aerospace welding specification. This test typically gets an x ray test ...also known as radiographic test (RT). There is also a provision for a bend test in lieu of X ray but most companies just use x ray. proper cleaning very important for passing this test and proper cleaning means filing the edge with a clean file and wire brushing with a clean stainless wire brush followed by acetone wipe immediately prior to welding.
