The county is repaving our road. It’s terribly exciting, the road was rather terrible. The machinery and workers also serve as a wonderful opportunity for Aspen to just hang out in a down while stressful things happen around us. The point of her doing stressful or hard things is that she succeeds! I can help her do that by moving closer or farther away as needed. Good girl, Aspen! #goforthk9 #yourdogjustbetter

Miss Aspen working in her bravery skills. Aspen isn’t a naturally brave, forward dog. We are giving her the skills she needs to help focus and push through stressful situations. We do this by having dogs do multiple, small, tasks the dog thinks is hard. However we need the dog to succeed at these tasks to become mentally stronger and braver. Miss Mya will be moving in with Aspen in a couple months. To ease this transition their owners are having both dogs trained. This helps set humans and dogs up for success when combining households. #goforthk9 #yourdogjustbetter
