Meet Star Student of the Month and Juior 2, Colbie! She's loves getting snacks at our Snack Shack, seeing her instructor, and practicing her kicks! Colbie also enjoys eating green beans, thinks pink and black are gorgeous together, and that giraffes, elephants, and gorillas are all equally majestical. Her instructor, Abigail says, "Colbie is a quick learner and has a natural love for the water. She is very good executing swim skills correctly and even helps her peers see how they should be done." Nice work, Colbie!

Meet Star Student of the Month, Cayleigh! Caleigh takes private lessons at Goldfish and loves to swim and play in the water. She tells us she is into McDonald's French fries, she thinks pink is a perfect color, and she loves playful puppies! Cayleigh's instructor, Abigail says, "Cayleigh loves it when I incorporate nursery rhymes and sounds with her skills. I look forward to her lessons every Monday. She is just a gem overall." Way to go, Cayleigh!

In honor of Autism Awareness month, we In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, our friends at Goldfish Swim School Winter Park have joined forces with Alijah’s Awareness to provide swimming scholarships to families in Florida. #TipTuesday - The USA Swimming Foundation announced Goldfish Edmond is one of 67 programs across 27 states chosen to receive a grant to support programs offering free or reduced-cost swim lessons! The USA Swimming Foundation vetted 243 applications through a competitive annual review process before awarding over half a million dollars through its 2021 grant program. The grants will provide an estimated 13,800 children with the opportunity to learn how to swim. More to come on how Goldfish Edmond will implement the grant here locally.
