Groundbreaking Ceremony At Lendonwood Gardens A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Wednesday, August 26 at the entrance of Lendonwood Gardens. The construction prep is beginning on a new Welcome Center building at the front gate, with completion expected in about six months. Visitors to the gardens next year will be entering through a new, more welcoming front entrance which was made public in an announcement by board president Jim Corbridge earlier in the summer. The building project is being coordinated by a board committee led by vice-president Jim Reynolds who will work closely with the contractor to complete the facility.
