We had commissioning of our servers this morning for both English and Spanish Masses!!. These servers are amazing and we are blessed to have them. We weren't able to get pictures of the Spanish Mass but in total we have 23 servers plus our two deacons in training! Thank you for your service!!!

Anyone at Holy Name willing to support this? It has come to our attention that some churches and schools within the Catholic Archdiocese of OKC would like to show UnPlanned but need a viewing license that costs $200 per showing. UnPlanned is willing to work out a deal with us, that we buy a license for $3000 that would allow any church under the archdiocese to show the film publicly anytime, forever. If we got 30 churches to contribute $100, we could cover the fee and no on...e would have to worry about obtaining a license. If your parish is interested or you’re willing to contribute on behalf of your parish to help us fund this license it would definitely help out our poorer organizations and free us up to show the film to as many people as possible without restrictions!!! (Legally, in order for ANY group or organization to show the film outside of their personal home, they need a license. We know this because we once got reprimanded by the producer of a film who heard we showed it without a license to our youth group ) Email me if you can help! [email protected]

Have you signed up to join Fr Mike on Oct 1 for the 40 Days For Life? Volunteers are needed to cover an hour or more during the day; can you spare an hour to join in the national campaign against abortion at the abortion mill in Norman? Holy Name parish will cover the hours from 8 to 5 pm in front of the clinic 2453 Wilcox, Norman, OK. Bring a chair, your rosary, sunglasses, and a hat.... Sign up sheets are at the back of Church, but join us even if you haven’t had a chance to sign up.

The 40 Days For Life fall celebration of life will be Sept 24-Nov 3. Join Father Mike on October 1 in a prayerful protest to end abortions in front of the abortion clinic in Norman. Our parish will cover the hours from 8 to 5 pm, so please come out and participate as we pray for these young women to have a change of heart and know God loves them and the unborn. Individuals, families and church organizations are encouraged to spend some time in prayer with us at the clinic on October 1. Clinic- 2453 Wilcox, Norman, OK

Lectors, Eucharist Ministers, Ushers and Greeters - your schedule for the July -Sept months has been emailed. If you do not receive your schedule by email, please check the bullentin board by the church main door, the sign-in book, or the parish webpage for your dates.
