Calling all Pre-K Families! Let's kick off back to *more* school with a snack/ treat potluck on April 6 for teachers and staff members! Please feel free to drop off any individually wrapped snacks or beverages for the 20 total staff members next Tuesday morning to show appreciation for all their efforts this year. Thanks in advance!

The Pre-K Center at Horace Mann proudly named Ashley Barker its 2020 - 2021 Teacher of the Year! CONGRATULATIONS, MS. BARKER! Ms. Barker has been teaching for 12 years. Her favorite thing about being a teacher is witnessing her students' "light bulb" moments. She LOVES watching kids blossom and thoroughly enjoys introducing them to their first school learning experience. The Pre-K Center at Horace Mann is incredibly fortunate to have Ms. Barker, and we congratulate her on... this much-deserved award! #OKCPS staff and families, due to increasing power outages, ALL classes are cancelled for October 28. OKCPS staff will be granted an Inclement Weather Day. This... means our students and teachers will NOT be expected to participate in remote learning. As a reminder, all district activities and our curbside meal service for Wednesday, October 28 are also cancelled. OKCPS buildings and offices will be closed tomorrow as well. District officials will continue to keep you updated as needed through social media, phone and text messages, and on www.okcps.org.
