April 28, 2021 is the 22nd annual Denim Day. On this day, millions of people across the world will wear jeans with a purpose, support survivors, and educate themselves and others about all forms of sexual violence. In recognition of Denim Day 2021, IHCRC is hosting a jean pocket decorating contest with gift cards for winners. You may use a denim jean pocket from an old pair of jeans or the paper template in the links below. The prize categories are youth (under 18) and adult.... Two winners will be selected from each category. TO ENTER: Read the information sheet in the links below to better understand the purpose of Denim Day. Take a picture of your decorated pocket with your Denim Day message and post it on Facebook or Instagram with hashtag #ihcrcdenimday2021. Please be sure the post is set to public so we are able to see the entry. Winners will be announced April 30th. Non-diabetic and diabetic participants needed for study of diabetes & pain risk. Participants must either: 1) be healthy, currently pain-free, OR 2) have type 2 diabetes. The study takes approximately 6.5-8 hours to complete. Up to $225 compensation will be provided for completing the study. Some participants may be eligible for travel reimbursement.
