GUESS WHAT? We will be getting back to the salon next week. We will follow strict Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering rules, OSHA guidelines for re-opening, CDC guidelines, and do all we can, but we also need your help to do so. ... If you feel sick in any way, have had a fever in the last 2 weeks or been around anyone in quarantine, or if you've traveled out of the state/country in the last 2 weeks, please reschedule. Health & safety for you are of the upmost importance to us. Please do not bring any food, drinks or unnecessary items. Please come alone. Only one client/stylist are allowed at a time and we must keep our numbers of people in the salon to a minimum, while still maintaining 6 feet, (except while the actual services are performed). Please wait in your car and text your stylist when you arrive. She will text you once she is ready for you to come in. When you enter, please sign in with requested information. Hand sanitizer will be available, but the preference is for you to immediately wash your hands. And make sure to have a mask. If you do not have a mask, we will have them available for a donation. We will get everyone booked as soon as we can. Please be patient. We have hundreds of clients who have been waiting just like you. If you know you cannot make your appointment, please contact your stylist ASAP. If you no show us, or cancel at the last minute, (without an emergency), you will have to be moved to the bottom of the list. Looking forward to seeing you. I am not for any of these petitions. First of all, just like everything, there's a hidden agenda, FOR 3 WHOLE DAYS??? And I say whole, because some expect us to be open 24/7 until all are "serviced". At the same time, we will have a ton of restrictions, costing us money and ultimately after not having an income, we WILL have to up-charge for the "covid safety kits" we will have to provide. Then the wording...wanting us to be considered "essential"? What a slap to our docs, nurses and front-line community! Please do not misunderstand me. I'm as eager as my clients to get back to the art and science of my passion to help people feel better, but not like this!
