BEEF UPDATE We are thankful to be past the worst part of this winter storm and very thankful for the moisture it brought. Our next big hurdle is keeping cattle off of thawing ponds. Many of cattlemen are losing cattle that have gotten used to walking on frozen ponds and fall through as it thaws. We are keeping a close eye on ours and hoping we don’t have any issues. DON’T MISS A CHANCE AT GREAT LOCAL BEEF!! Here’s what we have available to reserve... We have 1 full grass finished beef available for May at country home meats in north Edmond. You can buy a 1/2 or full beef! We will be starting our August grain finished beef soon and we have 6 slots available there. You can get a 1/2 or full beef there as well. We don’t start any cattle that aren’t sold so make sure to get on the list for some great homegrown beef! We will also have lamb available this spring. We need to know ASAP to reserve spots for those. They will be ready by mid April-mid May.

We hope everyone is staying safe and warm! We are working tirelessly to make sure the cattle have everything they need to stay healthy during these extreme temperatures. We are also in the middle of lambing so we are staying busy.

Just had a spot for a full beef free up for May at country home meats in Edmond, it can be grass or grain finished but would like to sell the full beef. Our grain finished will cost about $6.50/lb you take home all costs included and grass finished will cost about $8.25/lb you take home. Deposit on grain will be due immediately and grass finished due March 15th. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!
