Jefferson County Treasurer

Jefferson County Courthouse is going to try and open at 11am this morning February 17th 2021.

Due to limited staff The Treasurer's office will close from 12pm to 1pm today and tomorrow (December 29th & 30th) so that we may go to the bank. We apologize for any inconvenience. Taxes can be paid online or may be mailed to the following address: Jefferson County Treasurer 220 N Main Room 104 Waurika, Ok 73573... We honor the postmark date so as long as it is postmarked by Dec 31st your taxes are paid on time!

We will mail out tax statements on Monday November 23, 2020. The taxes will go online that day as well. Due to the rise in Covid cases in the county, we strongly encourage the public to mail in tax payments or pay online at www.okcountytreasurers.com. If you choose to mail payment and would like a receipt you may send in a self addressed stamped envelope. If you come in the office to pay masks are required.Only two persons will be allowed in the office at a time due to limited space to social distance.Thank you for your understanding.

Mask will be required to enter the Jefferson County Courthouse per the Board of County Commissioner's. Visitor's must enter through the South entrance. Thank you for your understanding.

The Jefferson County Treasurer's Office will be needing temporary help during tax season. From the end of November through the first week in January. No phone calls. Please apply in person at the Jefferson County Treasurer's office 220 N Main Room 104 Waurika. This will be 8am-4pm Monday- Friday.
