Slasher Designs

Got some decent results from our photos out at the Pryor Creek Nature Trail the other day. On the other hand, sometimes a "decent" picture (or the only one you could get) needs a little TLC....

Just relaxing with some bell hooks and scholarly discourse on topics of race, gender, white male dominance, and a feminist praxis model of pedagogical theory. Could it get any better?!

This is a picture of my lovely wife when she was nine years old and taking dance classes at "Ms. Olive Stringer’s School of ballet, Tap, and Jazz" in Claremore. She had brought this picture home from her Mom and Dad's the other day and I thought it would be nice of me, as a loving husband, to restore the original. Of course I had to add the "Slasher Designs" touch. I think it turned out even better than the faded, dust-scratched-and-bespeckled original. But hey, this is just my opinion. 'Love you baby. I think you're still as young and vibrant today as you were then and even more beautiful.

John just got through adding a new Memphis Shades fairing and some hard-bags to his 1100. Looks really good babe!

Definitely a sign of Fall when Pelicans start gathering around area lakes. Thought this would be a good photo opportunity. These were taken a few days ago around Strang, OK and the "Old Strang Bridge"

More fun in the sun at the lake today. Actually saw a few pelicans (but the pictures of them weren't that great). Did have a ball though and even learned of a "green orb" that rises out of the southeast over the lake and above the tree line. Hmmmm.....

Got the camera back out today and enjoyed a little walk at the lake after getting a few pics of our little girl in a fall setting scene

Revisited one of our favorite places yesterday and tried to take advantage of the cooler weather. Started to warm up a bit before we left but had a really enjoyable time getting pictures of the wildlife and just being outside.

Enjoyed a little lake time tonight right before dark. Put some 7 in. risers on the 650 and they really improve riding and handling. The weather was very cooperative as well with 79 degrees and a gentle southern breeze gracing us with its presence. Sometimes it's just good to get outside....
