The United States is currently rolling out COVID-19 vaccines across the country. However, many people are still anxious about what to expect and how effective the vaccines are. Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are around 95% effective after both doses have been administered. As for side effects, the CDC has reported injection site pain, possible fatigue, headache, muscle pain, and joint pain. These symptoms are normal and a sign that your body’s immune system is mounting the appropriate response to form antibodies.
