Making calm jars with a client! Who says virtual therapy can’t be fun? Wanna make your own calm jar? Just get a clear jar, add warm water (3/4 full) then add clear glue (tacky glue or glitter glue 2-4oz), add glitter and Bam! When you are finished, use super glue or hot glue to seal the lid shut. Your brain responds to facial expressions the same way it does to thoughts, so give this a try: Make a half-smile, nothing big and cheesy, no teeth showing, just a slight up-turn to the sides of your mouth and a softness to your eyes. Now try and do this at least 5 times each day over the weekend and see if you notice any changes.
