Raise your hand if you’re a boy mom and your boy reached the age of 6-7 and you feel heartbroken with the lack of hugs and snuggles and the increase of independence and too cool to love on mom attitude. My boy was my first and it’s brutal some days. I basically beg him to spend time with me and I’ve even used the ughhh you don’t even love me line like a whiny girlfriend but, with my son . He will just go oh stop I DO TOO! and then go play with friends again. Moms out there with older kids- do they come back? Do they circle back around and need us and love on us again? Or did I need to start therapy like yesterday?

She deserves another post. I forgot to share how special Millie is . Millie was born with Spina Bifida. My heart sank reading her moms post this morning on how 60% of babies diagnosed with Spina Bifida in the womb are aborted. Look at her. She’s amazing and just like her momma said the world is a better place with Millie in it. #spinabifida #spinabifidaawareness #spinabifidababy

The beautiful @movebymadi and her crew . I wanted to be cool and do those neat collage layout type things the cool kids are doing but after trying for 20 minutes here’s a classic single photo.

Their momma wanted a European garden feel and I think we did it! Im always up for location ideas, takes the pressure off me sometimes and takes me out of my comfort zone.

Just really loving the simple studio shoots lately and this sweetie pie!

BOTH! Because nothing makes my heart skip like that sun flare.. but then seeing dads joy in the other was also . This session was perfection and I cannot wait for warm sun flares and the greenery to start showing up!

It’s my last kid free day before spring break and I’m trying to decide between productivity or a 4 hour nap.
