Ok fellow fat chewers. I owe the group a waffle and syrup recipe. This one is fantastic if you want to try to implement something fun while staying under the protective umbrella of the Ketosis. You're Welcome. The key to this little hack is to eliminate the insulin spike in your blood stream. If you are new to KETO, do not try to exchange this for that. If you get the wrong ingredient, it could throw you out of Ketosis and defeating the purpose. Prep Time: 5 minutes... Hello fellow Keto People, is everyone primed with their new year's resolutions? Are we ready to do this again this year? Does anyone have new goals? I have decided to try adding intermittent fasting back into my routine. My wife has become quite the advocate for the Keto lifestyle making it easy to stay on the correct food. For those of you that are new to this, Keto is not a diet, it is a way of life and it is hard to live that life without a supportive spouse. So I appreci...ate her for being so onboard. This upcoming year, I have been hoping to set apart more time to visit with all of my friends out there in facebook land. The idea is to try and find some like-minded people with which to share frustrations and solutions. I do my best not to think in terms of resolutions because they so rarely stick, so instead, we should get together and reflect over last years successes and failures to try to learn from and adjust our previous strategies. If you have time, I would really love to hear from everybody about how they managed the challenges and successes. Success has often been as hard for me to cope with as failure at times. Let me explain. Many times, I have set a goal or two, fought hard to achieve that goal, but once the goal is achieved, I had a tendency to celebrate that goal by indulging the opposite behavior that led to that success. Does this sound familiar to anyone? This is what I mean when I say it is a lifestyle rather than a diet fad. The minute that one goes back to a carb heavy diet they will reap the rewards of that lifestyle. This is my default if I don't put effort into my eating habits. So one thing that worked well for me last year was to treat this as a sustainable lifestyle that is doable. I do not long for the end of my diet so that I can eat doughnuts. I know that there are alternatives to eat that will taste as good or better than that doughnut. I think we should try to do a series with this 2018 reflection thing.
