WHEN LIFE HAPPENS, WE COME TOGETHER! In light of Laura, we are joining forces and hosting BOTH the Lackey Livestock Louisiana Sale and the Fontenot Farms Annual... Farm Sale TOGETHER in Gonzales, LA at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center on September 12! Viewing will begin at 7 PM, Friday night and again Saturday at Noon. The Fontenot Farms Annual Farm Sale will begin at 2 PM and the Lackey Livestock Sale at 6 PM. Meals provided. I felt like I needed to clarify this so here goes! As many of you know my father Mike Kirkpatrick has been having some health problems. He is undergoing treatment and is doing better! With that being said to make it easier on him and our family as a whole we decided a few months ago to split our sow heard. So a portion of those sows moved to Thackerville, OK where Jackie and I will be making our home soon! This weighed heavy on our hearts and was not an easy decision consider...ing the hardships we’ve faced this year and was only done to easy the burden on my father Mike Kirkpatrick, My brother Hoot Kirkpatrick and his family and myself and my family! We all know how hard change can be but are very excited about the future! So a portion of Kirkpatrick Farms is partnering with Austin and Bailey McGill. (K &M Showpigs - Kirkpatrick and McGill) So coming new this fall at our southern location in Thackerville, OK we will be offering around 17 liters. Same service, same quality, with two new faces. Kirkpatrick Farms will still have its northern location in Fox, OK and will have approximately 15 litters. It will be business as usual! We are all looking forward to serving you this sale season.
