At KKT we are focusing on new initiatives to teach upcoming generations about architecture and engineering. We recognize the students of today are the workforce of tomorrow, so we wanted to start with outreach to local elementary schools, starting with Tulsa Public Schools Tulsa Emerson Elementary. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are values on which KKT Architects was founded, and we are driven to tear down the barriers of entry to the profession of architecture and engineer...ing by reaching out to underserved students and by creating opportunities for everyone in our community to achieve, lead, and thrive. In this first video, KKT’s Robert Guess gives a short tour of the office and then shows how math is used to make a blueprint of an existing space using the newly redesigned Emerson Elementary as a template.
