HEY, stop what you’re doing and listen to this:........ You will never guess what is happening at Konawa IPHC. WE ARE STILL MEETING EVERY SUNDAY FOR WORSHIP!! ... One of the best teachers I have had the privilege of sitting under (Susan Morris) teaches our Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. and the lesson is followed by a blessed time of worship and fellowship at 11:00. You may not know it but we have been missing you. Oh....We don’t know you? That can be corrected quickly and it would be our delight to make you a part of our gathering. You will be loved and appreciated and in these days those are two very powerful things we wish to share with you. So, why not make it this Sunday? When you walk through the door, you will be home. Our prayer is God please heal our land and give us peace!! We should ask ourselves what can I do to help the situation? It seems overwhelming and like what can we do? We can start in our own circle of influence and spread joy and kindness and do things for the unfortunate, teach our children to be kind and loving . We can pray for our leaders and our nation!

Very sad day yesterday, we lost another one of our precious ladies in our church Sis Frankie Cockran. I had just spoken with her the night before and she wasn’t feeling well her back was hurting. We got the prayer chain going and the very next day she went to be with Jesus. No more pain for her. We will miss her. Her funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 at the church. She can be seen at the Konawa funeral home Tuesday 11:00 - 7:00. Since we can’t have a dinner we are going to have food for Sherrie to take home with her. She ask please to put what ever you bring please put it in something that she doesn’t have to return. Thank you church I know you will do well!!
