Today the Oklahoma Supreme Court held that the Oklahoma Constitution does not allow special interest groups like the Chamber of Commerce, the Insurance Cartel, Big Pharma or the Medical Mafia to decide how much a jury of the people of the community can award a person for non-economic damages. These special interests purchased the legislature more than a decade ago and rammed through a bogus "cap" of $350,000 for non-economic damages, meaning that if you, your spouse, your c...hild, your parents or anyone else you loved, had to have all 4 of your limbs cut off due to somebody else's fault, you could only recover $350,000.00 for your pain and suffering and loss of enjoyment of life.
