Results of the 11 April 2021 monthly tournament on Lake Murray. Marco Vaca won with 23.62 pounds; Harold Semien was second with19.18 pounds and a Big Bass of 8.65 pounds; Brian Shotts was third with14.20; 4th place was Jacob Reeves with 11.52 pounds.
Minutes of the 7 April 2021 LFSBA meeting
We fish Lake Murray this Sunday, 11 April. Registration, live-well check and boats in the water by 0600. Safety briefing and starting position draw at 0630. We fish until 1500. We'll weigh fish 12-inches and bigger. This is an individual tournament. Lake Murray is a state park and a parking permit is required. Go go to www.premiumparking.com to pay. If you are honorably discharged (not just retired; any DD214) or over 65 Oklahoma resident you may be able to get free yearly parking, but you must go to a State Park headquarters in person with documentation. Free permits can't be done on-line. Tournament entry fee is $40.00; membership fee, if not already paid, is $35.00. Correct change is greatly appreciated.
Good Morning everyone!! The weather is warning and so is the water temperatures. We are starting our Tuesday Night Tournaments this Tuesday at Lawtonka. Boats in the water by 5:30 and we will fish til dark. Also we have our meeting on Wednesday and we will fish our monthly Tournament on Lake Murray on Sunday!! Hope everyone had a great Easter and see ya Tuesday!!!

Our first official tournament was on Sunday, 7 March at Lake of the Arbuckles. We had 30 entries with 10 anglers weighing fish. The results and points are as follows. Congratulations go out to Mark Vaca with a 31.12 pound stringer and Big Bass of 7.68 pounds. Thanks to all who came out our next tournament is on Lake Murray, 6 April 2021. Come join the club and fish with us.
Congratulations to all that supported our 28 February Ice Breaker on Lake Lawtonka. There were 14 teams entered. Only 2 teams weighed fish. The winners were Jason McNeil and Don Anderson with a total for 3 fish of 6.42 pounds. Second Place and Big Bass went to the team of Brady Brown and Vince Hobbs with one fish weighing 3.89 pounds. Our Tuesday Night Jackpots will start on April 6 at Lake Lawtonka. Please mark your calendars and join us for the tournament.
Our March tournament will be held at Arbuckle Lake on Sunday, 7 March, from The Point ramp . Pay close attention to the following and please bring correct change. Dues are $35.00; entry fee is $40.00. o Boats need to be in the water by 6:00 AM. Briefing and start will be around 6:30 AM. End time will be 3:00 PM. o Arbuckle has a 13-16-inch slot. We will weigh 12-inch fish. Fish cannot touch 13-inches and must touch 16-inches to be legal. o There is a ramp launch fee. Well we are 3 weeks out from our first event of 2021. We will host an Ice Breaker on 28 February 2021 on Lake Lawtonka. This will be an open 2-person team event. Entry fee is $30.00 per team and the tournament will count towards the Tuesday Night Jackpot Championship qualification. We will go out of Schoolhouse Slough. Registration and boats in the water not later than 7:30 AM. We will start fishing at 8:00 AM and fish until 2:00 PM. Hope to see you on the water.
