Lexington

God definitely moved tonight! Fields of Faith was a success! We had around 180 people come out to Floyd West Field tonight. Thank you to Wayne, Purcell, and Washington for bringing out students and being apart of this night. Thank you to Steffan and Paige Wood as well as Keeton Peery and Jake Madden for leading worship. Super proud of Lexington’s Cooper Bean and Washington’s Gracie Cantrell for sharing their testimonies tonight. Thank you to Michael Turk for coming out and speaking to our kids. Also thank you to everyone who did things behind the scenes to help get this event off! God is doing great things in these communities. Continue to pray for these students as they continue in this school year!

Fields of Faith this Wednesday at 7!

Got to take a group of students to FCA game day last night for the OU vs West Virginia game! It was awesome getting to spend time with these kids and them getting to hear some awesome testimonies from some of OU’s athletes. They also got to hear a good message from Abraham Wright. Super thankful for FCA for hosting this and giving kids an opportunity to have fun and hear about the love of God!

Had See You at the Pole Yetserday and the turn out was awesome! Really proud of these leaders for stepping up and leading this! Big thank you to everyone who came and also a Thank you to FBC Lexington for serving juice and donuts for the students. Countinue to pray for these students and for this school. Pray that God will work through these leaders and the hearts of these kids will be opened up. God is doing great things in Lexington!

Had our first FCA meeting of the year tonight! Only had our leaders show up but we know that God is working none the less. Thank you to Miles Gordon for coming out and sharing an encouraging message to these leaders about Focus. When your focus is on God everything else around you will fall into place according to his will. Pray for these leaders as they begin to allow God to work through them this school year!

Had another fish club this last Wednesday. Cooper Bean brought our message and did a fantastic job! We had about 27 students that showed up and enjoyed a time of food and fellowship. God is doing great things in our school right now! Thankful for donors who donate the food so that our students can have a free meal every week. Had our first Fish Club to start out our school year! Our leaders did a great job of organizing and getting people there! Carson Claunch spoke about love out of 1 Corinthians 13 today and did a great job as well! Excited to see what God does in Lexington this school year! *Also I would like to thank our donors for donating the pizzas for the students! It may have been raining for the 2nd year in a row, but that did not stop us from having a great turnout this morning for See You At The Pole! I can not think of a better way to start out your day than to listen to all the kids around you leading prayer groups and praying not just for their state, country & community, but for each other and whatever someone might be going through! Very proud of all of our FCA leaders and the roles they are taking on to make this morning &... this evenings youth rally a success! Thank you to Nate Clegg for speaking this morning and doing a great job in talking about what it means to be Broken and taking it to God. Also, thank you to FBC Lex for providing a yummy breakfast early this morning for everyone! Please join us this evening at 7pm in the Lex PE gym when all of our community youth groups will be coming to gather to praise, worship & have fun together! You don’t want to miss it!! #SYATP #BROKEN
