Lost Highway Ranch

Trails at the ranch. Much faster without a phone in my hand!!

Just a little camp fire, disposing of some brush while the wind is absent and enjoying an adult beverage at the end of the day.

Sad day yesterday. Our 4th calf was born yesterday, but unfortunately the mother didn’t survive the birth. The calf was very large and is doing well. A very huge thank you to my very good neighbor, Joe Ledford for taking care of the calf for us. The third male calf.

We have added some energy saving tech at the ranch. 3.5kw solar array constructed over the weekend. Plans to have it connected and operating in the next week.

Still finding old relics at the ranch. Old ammo can with an old brass zippo lighter and some 30 carbine rounds. Vietnam era maybe.
