Announcing a Technical Development, Skills, and Ball Mastery Soccer Training Program!! If you are interested in enrolling click here: https://system.gotsport.com/programs/116862U66 ... If you have questions please email [email protected] Mayes County Soccer, in a joint effort with Claremore Soccer Club and WSA North, are announcing a program to improve the quality of soccer in the area. Our intentions are to develop an Academy Training program strategically designed to prepare players safely and effectively for long term success in the game of soccer through a fun, dynamic, and player centric environment. The goal of this program is to improve the quality of soccer in the area, as well as to keep players from this area playing in this area, while still affording them quality training and game opportunities in addition to their recreational games that they play. While doing this the program looks to instill a passion for the game as well as improve their individual skills and technique encouraging players to continue their careers in soccer through the High School level and the Collegiate level. Who is the program for? - The program is for all players U6-U10, especially for players who show a passion for the game and believe they have the potential to play at the High School level and beyond. When are practices and games? - Practice sessions will be held once a week on Mondays during the season starting at 6 PM. - Games are held at least once a month on Sundays and multiple games will be played on game days. - Practices and Games will be held at either Claremore or Mayes County Soccer Clubs, with the possibility of away games once or twice a season. What is the Program Cost? - We did our best to make the cost affordable and inviting to all at a cost of only $35. - Free previews will be held on October 11th and 18th. The program will be under the direction of Justin Phillip the WSA Director of Coaching for Claremore Soccer Club and former Verdigris High School Head Coach and assisted by Aaron Farmer the Claremore Assistant Men’s High School Coach and former collegiate player.

Being your own child’s coach can be difficult but so can being in the sideline watching someone else coach your child. Here are some great suggestions for coach/parents and for parents/spectators. Your children love you coming to the games, come support them and their coaches.

One question a lot of coaches ask is, "How do I get my team to come together and bond as a team? Research shows that inclusive teams, teams where everybody fee...ls like they belong, feel valued, and feel safe, are more successful teams. The Harvard Business Review ran an article that states that teams with inclusive leaders are more likely to report that they are high performing, make high-quality decisions, behave collaboratively, and experience an increase in attendance (Bourke).
