About OSAI: For nearly 45 years, the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute (OSAI) has been changing the lives of high school actors, singers, writers, dancers, artists, filmmakers, classical musicians and photographers. OSAI is an intensive, full scholarship two-week residency program that provides professional training to talented young artists. Every accepted student receives a full scholarship to attend the program! Watch this video to hear about our students’ experiences, and re...ad all about OSAI on our website. How to Apply: Auditions are currently underway, and the deadline to submit audition materialsfor most disciplinesis March 15! We are making plans to hold OSAI in person this year, but students will submit their audition materials online due to the continued rise in coronavirus cases. Students must first complete a simple application and then upload their audition materials through our web portal. Each discipline has very specific audition guidelines outlined on our website by discipline here: acting, chorus, creative writing, dance, drawing & painting, film & video, orchestra and photography. Photography and film & video students will also need to schedule a short Zoom interview and upload their materials 24 hours before their interview. At this time, the last interview date for film & video is Saturday, March 13 and for photography the last interview is Sunday, March 14, but there are limited spaces, so interested students should schedule an interview soon. All other disciplines will need to submit their materials by Monday, March 15 at 11:59 pm CST. Learn more: Check out some work by the OSAI drawing & painting and photography, chorus and creative writing students! Follow the OAI social media accounts (Facebook) (Instagram) for tips and updates. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the Oklahoma Arts Institute by email at [email protected] or by phone at 405.605.7500.
