Happy birthday to my one and only! I love our love, babe. It just keeps getting better. <3

With our kids home for so long, I’ve really noticed that if I’m not intentional with our days, they default to bad attitudes and complaining all around. As a mom I know that I set the tone for our home. It’s not always easy to be home with 4 kids all day, but my attitude is my choice. A few days ago a write down some meditations that I began my day with and thought I would share with you today. I pray that the more I meditate on these words the more they become a reality in m...y life. I am an intentional parent. I take the time to get on my kids’ level and teach them. I have grace and patience for them because the Lord has so much grace and patience for me. It is an honor to have so many opportunities every day to guide them and help them get glimpses of the Father. I do not yell or use shame or threats. I love and disciple and model attitudes of compassion, generosity, and joy. I am in the business of breaking generational cycles. God is my rock and has given me everything I need to do all that He has for me today.

Ordinary moments are the most magical of all.

So excited to share that we will be adopting our little girl next month. <3 She is sweet and kid and hilarious and raising her into adulthood will be one of the greatest privileges of our lives.
