Hey everyone! Just a few reminders and updates from us. It’s been so wonderful seeing everyone and getting to feel a little bit of normal lately. But, as we know, cases are going up and we will continue to be vigilant. All of our safety guidelines are still in place! A few changes are starting this week including a price increase - however, we know that everyone’s situation is different right now and we are flexible! Charging hourly allows us to work with almost any budget.... Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions regarding pricing. Next up, we’re asking that if you or someone in your household has traveled within two weeks of your appointment, please consider rescheduling! We are in contact with multiple people each day and take that responsibility very seriously. Finding out that we’ve had contact with someone who gets sick will cause a large ripple effect in our business. Let’s all be considerate of others and keep being kind to each other! There are A LOT of changes we are making to be able to open up next week. You’ve all been so patient and understanding, and we SO appreciate that. Hi everyone! Alyssa here. We’ve been mostly updating through emails and over on our IG but wanted to give our latest info here as well. Even though our state governor has laid out a plan for a phased reopening that includes hair salons opening up in the first wave, we are trusting the guidance and cautioning the advice we’re hearing from many other leaders across our nation and here in our city. I know that some will feel this is being too cautious or overly dramatic but ...I have always been someone who is comfortable going against what everyone else is doing to do what I believe is right and responsible. This is no different. We miss you. We wish that things were different and could go back to normal right now, but the reality is that they can’t. I feel that as a business owner, I do not have sufficient and reliable information to know all of the risks I am asking my team and our customers to assume. For that reason, we will remain closed temporarily. Please know that we WILL be opening up again, as soon as we feel prepared and confident that we know what that new normal will look like. Our business is not one that can practice social distancing, and while we will take every other precaution and follow every other guideline to protect ourselves and you, we just need more time. We don’t make this decision lightly and we feel we have an opportunity to change the way we do things for the better. But to be able to commit to that, we must be safe first. We can’t rush this. We need time to create new solutions so that our business is strong and we can provide you with the experience you deserve.
