We went out to check on our Pot Belly Pigs and piglets. Everyone is doing good. The piglets come out every warm day and hang out with the other Pot Belly Pigs. We also have Tessa who hangs out near the Pot Belly Pigs. He is a Muscovy duck that isn't really ours. He lives at a nearby pond and flies over everyday to eat and hang out. We feed him and give him treats everyday. At night he flies back to the pond where he is the only duck. All the Pot Belly Pigs and the piglets are healthy and happy.
5 new little piglets. Pot Belly pig babies. We don't know who's male or female but we'll find out in a few days.
Winter is coming. Remember, if you're cold they're cold. Bring them in.
It's a little cooler out so they huddled up. Not sure why they didn't go to their house but here they lay.
We decided to give the Pot Belly Pigs more room. They're electric fence trained and don't go past it. New Gras and lots of mud. It makes for a happy Pot Belly Pig.
A few afternoon chores. We fed our Pot Belly Pigs, Tamuk Rabbits, Crested Ducks, Buff Orpingtons, and our Bielefelder chickens
Harper decided she likes to watch the pigs. Here little Merle puppy kind of likes them also. The other puppy, a black puppy, loves his chickens.
We still have 2 puppies looking for homes. They're both little sweeties. The black puppy has the best little personality.
We still have a handful of puppies. They are getting bigger. They're turning into little cuddle puppies. We have one a little shy but he will be loved on tomorrow.
Bielefelder chickens are getting bigger. They're still content with 15 in the cage. I'm guessing they're around 4 to 5 pounds. Getting big for 3 months old.
A quick video of the Pot Belly Pigs. They're growing, kind of lol. They like getting scraps. Actually they like eating
We have the below little ones available. All beautiful boys and girls. Have had first shot, tails docked, and dewclaws removed.. PM us for info.
Just a quick video of our Pot Belly Pigs. They're growing but still not very friendly. They've done a good job eating the hay.
We have some beautiful full blood Australian Shepherd Puppies. They are2.5 months old and have their first shots and dewormer. We are motivated. We have black Merle, red Merle, black tri and red tri boys and girls. Born 06/07/2021
We have some chicks for sale. 5 or 6 Mottled Java and 6 or 7 Blue, Black, Splash Ameraucana. Range in age from 2 weeks to 8 weeks. The Buffs aren't for sale. They're just glamor girls and have to get in pictures. :)
Our other girl, Harper had her puppies. We had to hire someone to get them out from under a trailer house. He got them and now we have them. She had 11 puppies. Now we have a total of 21 Aussie puppies. They're all going to the vet in the morning.
Here is Alice's litter. 10 baby Australian Shepherds. Looks like 6 Merle and 4 tri color. It was funny this morning. I let Alice in for a while and she got under the table where I was sitting. I heard some noise and looked down and her came the first puppy. I quickly moved her to a safe place. We do have another litter but haven't got them yet. Our black Tri girl, Harper, had a litter under our neighbors trailer. As soon as we can figure out what end she is under we will get them.
We've got Bielefelder chicks on our small homestead. These are a great dual purpose chickens. Roosters grow up to 12 pounds and hens get up to 10 pounds. They lay between 240 and 280 eggs a year. Another plus is Bielefelders are very docile and easy to manage.
Our little girl is ready. She is breathing hard, her sacks are full and dripping, and her tummy is rock hard. She won't like it but it's time to confine her. She is one of the few full blood Aussies with a big beautiful tail.
