I'm not 100% sure but it looks like the lake may get shut down. Of the 2 ramps open, the marina ramp had dissapeared under the water by dark last night. The north carson ramp only had about 1' of concrete showing. Usually they shut the ramps down when concrete is covered. I've been ripping some good Slab Crappie all week. To clarify this a bit, it's not as easy as it might appear. You have to be an experienced livescoper with accurate cast ability. The fish I was catching were 30-50 foot away from me and 15-22 feet deep. My buddy Mustang Mike was able to get dialed in and put a whoopin on em too. I'm working on posting a video of some of the action....

Back home from Fort Worth and the Bass Master Classic EXPO. Brandon and I went over and helped work the BeatDown Outdoor booth. Had a great time working with Blake, Sarah, Travis, Lindsy, and Tom. We met lots of folks, and made many new friends. Sold several BeatDown Stands as well. All in all, it was a Great weekend..

Broken Bow Lake Crappie Fishing report... The lake is still rising. It is only about 6' from running over the spillway. I believe there's only 2 ramps open and maybe just the north carson ramp now. Logs and debris afloat everywhere. With all this, the Big Crappie have been chomping for me. I fished monday and caught 45. Cleaned a limit of 37 for an upcoming fish fry. Went back yesterday and a friend and I caught another 70 or so. We gave some to 2 different families and turned the rest back into the water. All were caught using the trolling motor and livescope in areas I've never fished. May go back today to catch some on video in a place I've never looked.. Stay Tuned ! mikescrappieguideservice.com

Well from looking at the lake level charts, I'd say Broken Bow's ramps are all closed once again. Hope it doesn't, but this could be another over flow like 2015. Y'all stay safe. Turn Around Don't Drown !!!
