Does Mayberry spark childhood memories for you too? As The Mississippi Coffee Lady I love showing the many places military life takes us all through the lens of my favorite beverage. On our 96 weekend off, we visited the adorable little town of Mayberry to wave at Sherif Taylor and Aunt Bee! Otis wasn’t in the jail cell, but it was fun to relive my childhood memories of visiting this iconic Mayberry Courthouse my daddy took us too as kids. It was awesome to step back into a simpler time of small town USA!

Today is Military Spouse Appreciation Day! Military life is challenging and as it tests your mettle, few marriages even survive it. A military spouse is someone who embraces the passion and convictions of their service member and make sacrifices along side them as they further the greater good as a team. I’ve had the honor of sipping coffee and sharing hearts with countless spouses in numerous duty stations all over the country, and I’m continually humbled by the incredible... people I meet and the many things they teach me. If you’re a military spouse, THANK YOU for all you do behind the scenes to the keep the home fires burning and your other half in uniform encouraged as they do an incredibly difficult job. Our country has you to thank for your dedication in helping your other half succeed! If you’re not a milspouse tag a friend who is and let them know you appreciate all they do!
