M&M Iris Garden

We had a beautiful day for the "Gathering" and believe most folk who attended (I would like to say all, but that seems to be far fetched) had a good time. We g...ot rid of fewer snacks and drinks than before, but we assume that is because of the pandemic. Last September, late in the month, we were gifted with some new introductions from Mid-America Garden in Salem Oregon, eight to be exact. Not believing we had enough time for them to become established in the garden, we potted them up and voila, this spring seven of the eight bloomed. I will attach a few of the pictures.

We are having a "Gathering" today to celebrate the beauty of Spring. Come on out to the garden anytime between 10:30 and 4:30 and join us. Parking should be no problem, at least as far as wet soil is concerned.

We did not receive any damage in last night's, Wednesday evening, storms. Only rainfall, and the iris will recover.

Greetings. Every year, we re-plant two or three of our beds of iris. Like Noah, we dig and pot up two of each, plant one, and keep one in case the planted one..., when it blooms, is incorrect. Then, we re-plant the duplicate. So, as blooms appear, we add the extra pots back to the sale table. We have done so, and new iris added to the "iris in pots 2021" will appear at the end, and others have been added also. Newer, added iris, will generally be at the very end of the pictures. See more

We have approximately 178 iris in 350 pots for sale at $6.00 apiece. Unless stated otherwise on the picture, we will have one.
