JOB SUMMARY: Monitors ECG reading on central monitor and report changes or irregularities to Charge nurse. Education and/or Experience:... High school graduate or general education degree (GED). Medical Terminology essential. Completes McCurtain Memorial EKG Interpretation Class and follow up skills check performed by education team. Language Skills: Must have the ability to write routine reports, and speak effectively to patients, families, or other members of the health care team. Ability to take accurate reports and present departmental needs to others via telephone. Ability to page others via overhead intercom in an intelligible way. LPN Oklahoma Licensure , ACLS, CPR, ECG Interpretation Certification required. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to work accurately and in an organized fashion in a high-paced. often stressful environment. Ability to rapidly respond to ever-changing workload related to patient census and crises. Demonstrated positive, supportive, mature behavior toward members of healthcare team, patients and families, through effective communication skills and problem solving.

McCurtain Memorial Hospital is looking for an RN Case Manager Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm, Hours may vary Job Description: The Case Manager is responsible for compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation regarding Utilization Review and Discharge Planning including implementation and annual review of the Utilization Management Plan and assisting with the coordination of the Utilization Management Committee. The Case Manager is also responsible for care reg...arding discharge planning and patient needs for care, treatment, and services after discharge or transfer are met. The Caser Manger follows the hospital’s Case Management/Utilization Program that integrates the functions of utilization review, discharge planning, and resource management into a singular effort to ensure, based on patient assessment, care is provided in the most appropriate setting utilizing medically indicated resources. The hospital’s case management model outlines a collaborative practice to improve quality through coordination of care impacting length of stay, minimizing cost, and ensuring optimum outcomes. A ribbon cutting with the Valliant Chamber of Commerce was held during the Grand Opening celebration of the McCurtain Memorial Valliant Health/Urgent Care Clinic today! Macy Branson, Mammography Tech at MMH, was presented with the Quality Award for June! Macy was nominated to receive the honor due to her diligence in building up the mammography program in our hospital. Within just a few months of receiving her license as a Mammography Technologist through the AART (American Registry for Radiologic Technologists), the department has experienced significant success. Her dedication and devotion to our patients has made a notable difference! As the recipient of this award, Macy received $100 and a framed certificate. We are proud of you, Macy!
