Gossett's Walk-Off Seals The Deal In IOWA Premier Gold 16U-Hayes 16U Victory Over Texoma Threat 16U IOWA Premier Gold 16U-Hayes 16U defeated Texoma Threat 16...U 4-3 on Saturday thanks to a walk-off single. The game was tied at three with IOWA Premier Gold 16U-Hayes 16U batting in the top of the fifth when Ally Gossett singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. IOWA Premier Gold 16U-Hayes 16U earned the victory despite allowing Texoma Threat 16U to score three runs in the first inning. Texoma Threat 16U scored its runs on a fielder's choice by Kynleigh Henson. Texoma Threat 16U got things moving in the first inning. An error scored one run for Texoma Threat 16U. Kayla Adams led the IOWA Premier Gold 16U-Hayes 16U to victory in the circle. The hurler allowed four hits and three runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking one. Tara Tackett took the loss for Texoma Threat 16U. The righthander surrendered four runs on eight hits over five innings, striking out five and walking zero. IOWA Premier Gold 16U-Hayes 16U tallied one home run on the day. Gossett put one out in the fourth inning. IOWA Premier Gold 16U-Hayes 16U tallied eight hits. Brooklyn Knight, Gossett, and Bristin Hayes each collected multiple hits for IOWA Premier Gold 16U-Hayes 16U. Hayes, Gossett, and Knight each collected two hits to lead IOWA Premier Gold 16U-Hayes 16U. Texoma Threat 16U collected four hits on the day. Disciple Camp 2021 was a hit! A big thank you to Rene McKinnon for agreeing to be our camp nurse and also to Alajah for stepping into a student leadership position over a small group. She did an amazing job and we are very proud of her! Keiarah opened up in her small group and stepped outside of her comfort zone. A great week was had by all!
