#FBF Did you know that the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma got its start as a Masonic Home for Children and the Aged? The idea was first born in 1888 at ...the 14th Annual Commincation of the Grand Lodge of Indian Territory. Twenty years later, in 1908 that dream became a reality with the first home opening in Atoka. It would move several times, first to Darlington, OK in 1910 and later to Guthrie, OK in 1922. In 1925 the Fraternity realized the importance of having two homes, one for the aged and the other for children. By 1930 the Masonic Charity Foundation was established to oversee property, financials, and care of the Masonic homes and Fraternity. Several homes existed and operated in Oklahoma for both children and seniors. This was one of the highest priorities for the Fraternity. Programs and care continued to expand until in 1957 the homes were opened to all children in need, regardless of Masonic affiliation. Moore Lodge #539 welcomes our newest Entered Apprentice, Brandon Lovelace. Brandon was initiated at our lodge this evening (May 12)

We had a great time with our widows and ladies today. After lunch we finished off with a fantastic magic show. Thank you everyone who helped put this on and everyone who came out.
