Muskogee County Historical Society invites members and the public to attend the monthly meeting at the Three Rivers Museum, 220 Elgin Street, at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, February 20, to meet author Randy Krehbiel and hear his reporting on the Tulsa Race Riot of 1921. His book entitled Tulsa 1921, Reporting a Massacre sheds light on numerous perspectives and asks ‘What have we learned in the last 100 years?’ Randy’s discussion will include interesting antidotes about Muskogee ...and this tragedy which has haunted Oklahoma’s history for almost 100 years. Questions are encouraged. Randy Krehbiel has been a reporter for the Tulsa World since 1979 and now covers political and governmental affairs in Oklahoma and the United States. For additional information contact Pat Ragsdale, president, at (918) 207-9538, or Sharon Ray, vice president, at (918) 616-1264.
